It’s time to be proactive if you already have not done so. Looks like a couple of prolonged periods below freezing the next couple of weeks. I have already replaced several water heaters this year due to the cold. Keep a fixture or 2 dripping. An increase in your water bill is always better than an insurance claim. Call me for repairs. Extreme Home Makeover. March 2007. Tipton-Smith Family in Lake Arrowhead. Yours truly was in charge of plumbing for project for company I was working with at the time. Even helped Kohler get their sponsor shot at 7:21 in video as I carried in their tub. Their story ends at the 10 minute mark. One of the greatest and most rewarding weeks ever. Man the people I met that week and the cooperation was unreal!

Another great example of deleting a tub from a master bath. A long time client needed a zero entry shower without obstructions for his aging parents. We removed the tub and wall to expand the shower the full length of the bathroom. Plenty of accessory grab bars and access to plumbing fixtures at front of shower wall with a door. Handicap toilet and refreshed vanity.

Getting more popular for clients to expand shower and save on not investing in a freestanding tub. All glass shower. New 84” long vanity with top, fixtures, and lighting. New water closet and toilet.
