I’ve always preferred the mid range paint over premium when it comes to wall paint. When it comes to trim and doors premium paint is the way to go.
Here are some some of my top choices
Wall paint: PPG(Pittsburgh Paint Company) Hi Hide
Sherwin Williams: Cashmere
Benjamin Moore: Their Ben Line

Top Premium trim paint:
Sherwin Williams: Emerald Urethane
PPG: Advantage 900
Farrell Calhoun: Enamelex

ICYMI: Benjamin Moore’s CEO says consumers are switching from premium to mid-range paint products as inflation tightens budgets. PPG and Sherwin-Williams are echoing these findings, citing inflation and rising gas prices.

Another front door done using Forte by Sherwin Williams. It’s high dollar stuff, but seems to be worth it.

This stuff is incredible. I’ve used a lot of deck stains over the years. They recommend an oil based primer for the solid color finish. It’ll be my new go to for all exterior staining projects.

Had the opportunity to seal up this porch ceiling in the beautiful weather this week. After doing inside projects all winter it was nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
