During a "routine" real estate inspection we found that this gas water heater was not venting properly into the chimney. We were able to help this family by installing a 3" liner kit down the chimney & connecting it to the unit. Thank you for trusting Sootstack Chimney!

Yesterday, the whole team (three of us) came together to bring this chimney back to life & keep the water out!
🧱 A new crown & top flue tile.
🧱 A new lock-top damper.
🧱 New shoulders formed & set in place.
🌧 Pressure washed & waterproofed.

🏠Don't sweat a small crack, we've got a fix for that! A chimney is a structure in its own & should be protected just as your home. If you want a good roof on your home then you'll want a good crown or chase cover on your chimney!

The rain yesterday evening didn't allow us to give this small chimney in Greendale, IN it's waterproofing treatment. Today, it received a wash down, crown coat sealant, and a waterproofing application to the bricks. Yesterday, we gave it a much overdue chimney sweep. It's ready to stand strong into the future!

Some of these locations had a clean report for the customers. While another revealed major damage not revealed by the standard home inspection. Be informed. Give us at call at 812-577-7326!
