Justin joined us this summer as our very first Pre-construction Intern, and we’re excited to have him on board. Although he’s only with us for a short time, he caught on extremely fast and has quickly become a valuable asset. We’ll miss him tremendously when he returns to school in August.
He’s currently attending Kansas State University, majoring in Electrical Engineering, and already brings a strong foundation in electrical systems and problem-solving. His experience includes analyzing circuits using Ohm’s and Kirchhoff’s Laws, building and testing them to understand voltage, current, and resistance, and applying coding concepts with the Arduino Nano.
Justin earned a full-ride scholarship through dedication in sports and academics. Family is very important to him, especially his aunt, who teaches him to cook and helps him practice Spanish. He’s also the only boy in a family of five sisters (three older, two younger).
His favorites include Jolly Rancher gummies, caramel chocolates, mint chocolate chip or cookies & cream ice cream, peanut butter crackers, smoke-flavored almonds, and Sweet & Spicy Chili Doritos. He loves Braum’s and Raising Cane’s (we’re all hoping that new Braum’s opens soon!), Barq’s Root Beer, and the color cobalt blue.
While he appreciates the Chiefs, his heart truly belongs to fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He collects fishing lures, disc golf discs, camping gear, and shot glasses, and he’s a huge dog lover, especially his chihuahua. The family’s five dogs easily outrank the three cats in his book.
Thank you for joining us this Summer, Justin!
