At Crystal Point Yacht Club, the fireplace remains the focal point, but the lounge around it has a very different feel. Curved seating, a lighter palette and a new furniture arrangement changed how the room reads while keeping its architectural anchor.

This before and after shows how a hospitality refresh can give guests a more welcoming place to spend time beyond the ballroom. We bring the interior design, furnishings and project coordination together to make those spaces work as a whole.

The Monmouth’s lobby has room to breathe. Paneled walls, a central table and a few well-placed seats create a composed arrival without filling every corner of the space.

At a residential property, even a modest common area can shape the daily experience of coming home or welcoming a visitor. We approach the scale, furnishings and details of each shared interior with that use in mind.

When a board starts planning a clubhouse refresh, cost is only one of the questions. The group also needs a decision process and a team that can coordinate design, furnishings and construction.

We’ve gathered some of the searches New Jersey community leaders make at the start of a project, from board involvement to budgeting and choosing a partner. A useful estimate starts with the scope and condition of your actual property, so bring those details into the conversation early.

What common space is your community thinking about refreshing?

At Essex & Sussex, this lobby seating area sits beside the main entry, giving residents and visitors a place to pause without interrupting the flow through the building. Pale upholstery, soft blue chairs and open sightlines make the larger arrival space feel welcoming.

A community lobby works hard every day. It makes a first impression, but it also has to serve the people who live there. We design shared interiors with both in mind.

At Regency at Monroe, a sparse clubhouse corner became a bright bar and gathering point. This before & after shows the new shelving, a substantial counter and seating we added to improve the earlier space which offered little reason to stay.

A common-space refresh can do more than update the finishes. It can make a room more useful to the people who share it every day. We bring the design, furnishings and project coordination together to carry that change through.

At Vassar Square, a long communal counter, smaller tables and lounge seating give this shared room several ways to be used. It can host a group without feeling too formal for an ordinary afternoon.

Boards don’t need every resident to approve every finish to run a thoughtful clubhouse refresh. The useful step is to decide what input matters, when to collect it and who makes the final call.

These are 3 questions we hear from community boards: how to gather feedback, coordinate the moving parts and keep residents informed while work is underway. Clear roles and regular updates help keep decisions moving.
