Deck rehab complete in Laurens SC

10/01/2026

You've seen the new name - now let's meet the team behind it!

We're Mike and Kelly Turner, a father-son team with a shared passion for quality craftsmanship and helping families bring their home improvement dreams to life.

With over 30 years of experience in home improvements and carpentry, Mike brings decades of hands-on experience, craftsmanship, and knowledge to every project. Kelly brings over 5 years of experience in facility maintenance and property management. Together, we combine experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

At Turner Built, we believe your home deserves more than just a quick fix. We take pride in our work, stand behind what we build, and treat every project as if we were working on our own home.

We're excited to build something of our own together — and even more excited to serve the families and homeowners in our Upstate community!

Family Built, Built to Last!

After years of building, improving, and serving our customers as Mike Turner Carpentry & Improvements, I'm excited to announce the next chapter:

Turner Built Home Improvements LLC

While the name and look are changing, the people behind the work aren’t. Mike Turner, is still right here — and I'm continuing to build on the craftsmanship, experience, and reputation that I've worked hard to establish over the years.

Joining me in this next chapter is my son, Kelly. What started as Dad’s business is now becoming a true father-son team, bringing together years of experience with a new generation ready to carry that craftsmanship forward.

We're excited to officially begin this next chapter in South Carolina and continue helping homeowners bring their ideas to life

Welcome to Turner Built Home Improvements.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the great people of Halifax and South Boston for supporting our Carpentry business for the last 4 years. We really enjoyed helping to make your dream projects come true. We appreciate the clients who became friends. Unfortunately, it is time to move on to our new adventures in South Carolina closer to our family. It has been our pleasure to live and work in this great area.
Mike & Tami Turner.
