Taking a minute to shout out the real MVPs of Wagner Paving: our field crew! (And yes, we're looking to add a few more to the team! Read below 👇)

While most people are still hitting snooze, these guys are already loading up the equipment and getting ready to lay down some of the best asphalt in the Dayton area. The days can be long and the pavement definitely gets hot, but our crews tackle it all with grit and a lot of laughs along the way. We couldn't do what we do without them.

Because they are crushing it, our schedule is packed and our work family is growing. If you’re looking for a change of pace and good pay with great benefits, we have a few spots open right now. Experience is great, but a good attitude and a willingness to hustle is what we really care about.

HELP WANTED: Part-Time Shop & Crew Support (2–3 Days/Week)

Are you retired but looking for a reason to get out of the house and stay active? Or maybe you’re just looking for a low-stress way to help out a local team? We’re looking for a reliable Shop & Crew Support person to join us!

This isn't a heavy labor job - it’s about keeping our wheels turning.

What the day looks like:
✅ The Shop: Picking up and delivering parts for our mechanics so they can stay on the tools.
✅ The Crew: Visiting our construction sites to drop off Gatorade, deliver site signs or run small tools to the guys.
✅ The Vibe: Low stress, high variety.

The Details:

Schedule: Flexible 2–3 days per week.

Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a reliable attitude.

As we kick off 2026, we're celebrating the legendary careers of Steve and Jay.

Steve (better known as 'Hubba'), has been with us for an incredible 47 years. He has seen this company grow, change and evolve, providing a steady hand and unmatched expertise through nearly five decades.

Jay has been a vital part of our success for 28 years. His dedication has set a standard that will continue to guide us long after his retirement.
