ELECTRICAL SAFETY WARNING: A Disaster Narrowly Avoided!
This is exactly what happens when a high-draw appliance runs on a loose, degraded, or overloaded connection. This outlet completely melted down and caught fire inside the wall—a major fire hazard that could have burned the whole building down.
We swapped out the dangerous, melted components and upgraded the system to a heavy-duty, industrial-grade Leviton 20-Amp locking plug and receptacle designed to handle heavy loads safely.
Don’t wait for a spark to turn into a catastrophe. If your outlets feel warm, look discolored, or plugs sit loose inside them, call the pros immediately.

An old, outdated breaker box is a major fire hazard. We got to work right away, pulled out the old system, and brought everything up to code to make the home safe again.
Here is what we did:
• Removed the old, outdated panel
• Installed a brand-new breaker panel
• Ran a new line from the outdoor disconnect to the panel
• Put new ground clamps on the cold water main
• Bonded the whole grounding system at the water main
Now this home has safe, reliable power that's built to last.

And the correct answer to yesterday’s trivia is... C Once a month!
🚨Did you guess right?
Most people are shocked to learn that GFCI outlets (the ones with the test/reset buttons in your kitchen, bathroom, and garage) need monthly testing. These outlets protect you from lethal electrical shocks, but internal surges can damage them without changing how they look on the outside.
Pressing that "TEST" button ensures the safety mechanism is actually working!

How to test it right now:
1️⃣ Plug a small light into the outlet.
2️⃣ Press "TEST"—the light should turn off.
3️⃣ Press "RESET"—the light should turn back on.If your light stayed on after pressing test, your safety switch has failed. Don't take the risk—give our team a call at 518-557-8060 ext. 1001 this week to get it safely replaced! 👍

❌ SUNDAY TRIVIA: 90% of homeowners get this wrong! ❌Take a look at your kitchen or bathroom outlets right now. Do you see those two tiny buttons in the middle that say "TEST" and "RESET"?🔴 Do you actually know how often you are supposed to press those?

A) Never, unless it trips.
B) Once a year.
C) Once a month.
D) Only when selling the house.

Drop your guess in the comments below! 👇(P.S. If you're tackling a weekend renovation and realized your outlets don't even have these safety buttons, give our team a call this week at 518-557-8060 ext. 1001 to get your home up to code!)
