For our May meeting with the annual show & sale coming up on June 27, we thought we could focus on potting and staging our favorite plants. Beautiful plants & pottery with the right accents can really make a difference. This is a fun opportunity for us to work on displaying what we grow as a group, get to know each other more, and just get hands on ideas on how to pot & display our plants.
Members including myself and Robert will bring examples of staged / potted plants as well as soil, top dressing gravel, and pottery to demonstrate some pot ups together. We will also share tips and tricks for potting, staging, and general care during the pot-up or re-pot process.
Please feel free to bring some of your own plants, soil mix, and pots you’d like to pot up & stage if you’d like to join in. We have tables, chairs, and extra soil for those who don’t have enough. Just bring what you’ll need to pot up one or a few plants.
Who knows, maybe you’ll even want to enter some of them into the show in June! Come hang out with the group, share ideas, & get the creative juices flowing together. This will be a fun hands on meeting!
