Being a contractor means wearing about 20 different hats… sometimes all before lunch. 😂🔨

From blueprint decoder and budget translator to therapist, magician, dog petter, and professional chaos coordinator—we do whatever it takes to keep the project moving.

At Meadowview Builders, we don’t just build and remodel. We problem-solve, pivot, coordinate, communicate, and make it happen. 🏠✨

Contractor life: one title, a hundred jobs.

👷‍♀️ A day in the life of a female contractor. 🔨

Come along for a day with Jessica, owner of Meadowview Builders, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what life in construction really looks like.

No two days are the same—and that’s all part of the job. 💪🏗️

Contractor life: “After this job, things will calm down.” 😂🔨

Spoiler alert… they never do. There’s always another project, another deadline, and another “quick little thing” that turns into a full day.

But that’s construction—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🏠💪

They say women belong in the kitchen making bread… 😂

We prefer making a different kind of bread. 💵🔨🏠

Construction workers know… 😂🔨

You can’t stay gone too long. There’s a jobsite waiting, materials that need to be picked up, and at least three people calling asking, “Where are you?” 😂

The project must go on. 🏠🛠️

POV: Your coworker/son tries to get in your truck… but you’re a general contractor. 😂🛻

Sorry, there’s no room. The tools, materials, receipts, water bottles and everything else we might need today already called sh***un. 🔨🧰😂

He’ll have to find another ride.

Just another day at Meadowview Builders. 🏠

Contractor life 😂🔨

We aren’t broke broke… we’re just waiting on those invoices to hit. 😅💸

Turns out purchasing materials for multiple projects at once is a pretty effective way to make your bank account look a little dramatic. 😂🛠️

Just another day in the life at Meadowview Builders! 🏡✨

🔨 Happy National Construction Appreciation Week! 👷‍♀️💪

This week is about recognizing the hardworking men and women who build the homes, businesses and communities around us. National Construction Appreciation Week was created to celebrate the people behind the work and the essential role construction plays in our everyday lives.

And this week also happens to be Professional Women in Building Week, celebrating the women making their mark across every part of the residential construction industry—from the trades and project management to leadership and business ownership.

To all the women in construction: you know us… we’ll keep on building, breaking barriers, getting the job done—and yes, we’ll keep on sweeping. 😂🧹

Happy Construction Appreciation Week from the women of Meadowview Builders! 🏠🔨
