Completed Project | Pelican Bay Condominiums - Gulfport, Florida

WKM just wrapped up the Pelican Bay project on October 15th.

The Original Scope of work included;
Removal of all existing balcony tile (22,000 ft.²)
Concrete Repairs to horizontal concrete slabs (285 ft.³)
Application of Protectosil® CIT to all concrete balcony slabs (22,000 ft.²)
Installation of Sikaflex® CR195 Sealants (9,100 l.ft.).
Application of Sikalastic® 1500 Pedestrian Waterproofing System (22,000 ft.²)
All decks were finished off with tile pattern decretive finish.

Additional Work
During Hurricane Helene, the condo took on several feet of water in their parking garage and generator room. The condo asked WKM to install flood barriers at critical locations on their ground floor level which included their generator room, electrical room, and pump room.

Additionally, It was determined through the use of GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) that there were large voids underneath their ground floor balconies. WKM teamed up with LRE Foundation Repair to chemically inject polyurethane foam to stabilize the decks.

🚧👷 Gables Condominiums Phase2👷🚧

The team at Gables is rocking and rolling on Phase 2 balconies and walkways. Bulk demolition is completed, concrete repairs are completed, all new sliding glass doors were installed and we’re getting ready to start painting balconies.

Out on Gulf Boulevard we recently finished installing new handrails, and we’re currently installing new walkway windows and elevator storefront glass.

The team at Waterview is rocking and rolling on Building #2's East balconies. Bulk demolition is completed, concrete curbs are being constructed and also working on stairwells. What a transformation this building, and its sister building have and are going through.

Another major milestone for WKM Restoration Group at Voyager Beach Club! 🌴☀️

Today, our crew successfully completed the 6th-floor balcony concrete pour as part of the ongoing balcony restoration project!

From demolition and structural preparation to extensive shoring, formwork, and today's concrete placement, every step brings us closer to restoring this beachfront property.

🚧 6000 PARK PLACE – BUILDING 1&2 COMPLETED 🚧

WKM finished the project last week and it turned out great! Both buildings had tile entryways which were contributing to water infiltration into units. The HOA board wanted to keep the tile look at the entries but didn't want the tile. WKM also installed several supplementary drains to removed water from their elevator lobby areas.

WKM used Sika repair mortars along with the Sikalastic 1500 Pedestrian System.

Onto the next one!

🚧 6000 PARK PLACE – BUILDING 1 PROGRESS UPDATE 🚧

Building 1 is getting closer to being ready for the new walkway waterproofing system!

Entryway sloping began yesterday following tile removal and surface preparation, helping create the proper transitions and drainage before waterproofing begins.

Crews are also nearing completion of the expansion joint replacement throughout the walkways.

With work progressing on both Buildings 1 & 2, 6000 Park Place is well on its way to better-looking, longer-lasting, and better-protected walkways.

🚧 PROJECT PROGRESS – 6000 PARK PLACE | BUILDING 2 🚧

Walkway waterproofing and gemstone installation is officially underway at Building 2!

Yesterday, our crews began the waterproofing system with Sika M200 Base Coat, preparing and protecting the walkways for the next stage.

Today, we're moving forward with the Sika TC-225 Top Coat, bringing the new walkway system another step closer to completion.

The transformation is already taking shape, and the fresh walkway finish is looking great! 👷‍♂️🏗️

Big thanks to Mark Barron with Prosoco for a great demo/testing session over at Marquesa. We had a large area of delaminated stucco with minimal cracking. The Prosoco Stucco Ties are a great potential candidate to minimize any future movement without having to restucco the whole wall.
