With over fifty years of service on the Central West Coast of Florida, Raynor Company Group, Inc. prides itself on servicing General Contractors and Public Sector clients including: Schools (Private & Public), Churches, Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Government and the Military. Raynor Company was founded in 1957 by D.C. “Bill” Raynor who operated as a residential subcontractor. In the early 1970’s, the company moved into the commercial sector and continued to grow and develop until 1991 at Bill’s retirement. At this time, the ownership passed to Gene Hester, Gene Hunter and Patrick Dallmann and became Raynor Company Group, Inc. In 2012, the ownership again changed to the new group headed by Kyle Dallmann and Daniel Gochenaur as President and Vice President respectively. continues to move forward to this date built on the ideals of quality work performance, earning the company many awards.

In commercial spaces, the ceiling is often where lighting, mechanical systems, soffits, changes in elevation, and specialty finishes all meet. Each element has its own requirements, but the finished result still needs to look intentional and cohesive.

Set along Sarasota Bay, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens called for finishes that complemented the natural character of the campus while supporting the demands of a coastal environment.

Raynor’s work on the project included exterior Calypso Coral Stone, stucco with an EIFS finish, and EIFS systems at select locations. Our team also contributed framing and interior detailing as part of the broader project.

By October, we're nearly through hurricane season. But for commercial buildings in Florida, two months may compound what the building's already been through this storm season.

Months of heat, humidity, heavy rain, and storm activity can take a cumulative toll on exterior systems. A sealant that was already showing signs of wear in July or a small crack that appeared after an August storm may be in a different condition by October.
