Before you hire that "guy who does AC on the side"
We get it. The quote is half what a company charges, and your neighbor swears by him. But here's what nobody tells you until it's too late. If he's not licensed, your manufacturer warranty is void the moment he touches your equipment — Carrier, Trane, Lennox, all of them require licensed installation. If he's not insured and gets hurt in your attic, that's your homeowner's policy. If he doesn't pull a permit on a system replacement, you'll find out at closing when the inspector flags unpermitted work. And when something fails in eight months, you're calling a number that doesn't answer anymore.
We're not saying every side job goes wrong. We're saying when it does, you have no recourse — and a $4,000 repair becomes a $9,000 one.
Eco Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is family owned and veteran-owned, licensed CAC1822759, fully insured, and we pull every permit. Over 100 five-star reviews from neighbors right here in Tampa Bay. When you call us next year, we'll still be here.
Show up. Fix it right. Stand behind it. Every time.
