Finished up these restrooms last week!

This project was a full transformation from the original tile flooring. After demo, we mechanically removed the remaining thinset, ground the perimeter, filled all the cracks and shot blasted the concrete to achieve the proper surface profile for a long-lasting coating system.

We also installed 6” cove around the perimeter before applying a full-broadcast flake system, creating a seamless transition from the floor up the walls. The finished system provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface built for the heavy foot traffic and daily use of a commercial restroom.

A TON of prep went into these floors, but the finished product speaks for its self. 🔥🤌🏼

Thinking about coating your basement concrete? Here’s the #1 mistake to avoid! ⚠️

Basements sit below ground, meaning water v***r pressure is constantly pushing up through the concrete slab. Skipping a Moisture V***r Barrier leads to coating failure and bubbling. At Solid Surface Solutions, every basement coating system includes thorough moisture testing and deep-penetrating primer barriers to keep your interior coating bonded for decades.

Still dealing with damp, musty carpets or lifting vinyl in your basement? It’s time for a permanent upgrade. 🏠

Basements naturally collect ground moisture. Traditional flooring traps dampness underneath, leading to mold, mildew, and odors. Seamless Epoxy Flooring seals off moisture from coming through your slab, creating a hygienic, waterproof, and easily cleanable basement floor that lasts a lifetime.

Why do DIY epoxy paint kits peel after just one season? It all comes down to PREPARATION. 🛠️

At Solid Surface Solutions, coatings succeed long before the first layer is applied. We never use cheap acid washes or paint rollers. Every installation starts with professional diamond grinding to open up the concrete pore structure, repairing minor cracks, and installing a moisture v***r barrier. That’s why our garage floors don't hot-tire peel and are built to last 15 to 20+ years.

Don't settle for temporary DIY fixes. Get a commercial-grade floor built right the first time! Visit solidsurfacesolutionsllc.com to learn more.

Been spending more time behind the grinder than behind the computer lately 😅 but here’s a cool project we just completed! 👌🏻

Floors aren’t all we do!

We gave this custom workbench a double flake broadcast with a high-wear urethane topcoat, then finished it off with aluminum edge trim.

Clean, durable, and tough as nails. 💪🏻
