While many of us spend the weekend with family, friends, backyard BBQs, and creating memories, we never forget the true meaning behind Memorial Day. Today and always, we are grateful to those who gave everything so we could enjoy the freedoms we have every day.

Our office will be closed through the weekend and Monday so our team can spend time with their loved ones as well. However, emergencies don’t take holidays, and neither does our commitment to our customers.

PSA: A Gentle Reminder During Extreme Cold ❄️

With temperatures this cold, we kindly ask everyone to lead with patience, respect, and kindness.

Service technicians are out in these conditions working as quickly and safely as possible to restore heat to homes. They are doing everything they can in challenging weather, and your understanding truly matters.

Please also remember that office staff answering the phones are handling an unusually high volume of calls. They are the first step in getting your heat fixed and are working hard to help every customer as efficiently as possible.

With a major snowstorm predicted from Sunday into Monday, this is an important reminder about one of winter’s most serious — and often overlooked — safety risks: blocked exhaust vents.

Here’s why this matters:
❄️ Heavy snow can cover furnace, boiler, and water heater exhaust exits
⚠️ Blocked exhaust can cause carbon monoxide (CO) to back up into your home
☠️ Carbon monoxide is odorless, invisible, and extremely dangerous

Your storm-prep safety checklist:
✔️ Keep all exterior exhaust pipes clear during and after the storm
✔️ Make sure carbon monoxide detectors are installed on every level of your home and near bedrooms
✔️ Test all smoke and CO alarms now and replace batteries as needed
