Behind the scenes at the future Capital Area Humane Society Spay and Neuter clinic, the carpenters from A4H Construction are installing fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) paneling on the walls. It protects the drywall from animal fluids and cleans up easily, so the space can handle the daily demands of a surgical clinic.

They’d rather recognize the team. Today, it’s their turn.

This Boss’s Day, we’re recognizing Ross, Chris, and Stevie—and everyone who leads our teams in the office and in the field.

RC Contractors was founded on faith, with a commitment to supporting people and helping them grow. Some teammates have been here since the beginning. Others have built their careers alongside siblings, parents, and extended family. Those connections—and the trust behind them—mean a great deal.

We also remember Robin, a founding owner whose influence helped shape RC’s culture. Though he has passed, his impact lives on in the company and the people who carry that culture forward.

Our leaders would rather spotlight the team’s hard work than their own.

Today, we’re thanking them for showing up, seeing potential, and investing in the people behind our projects.

To leaders everywhere who build others up: your work matters.

Happy Boss’s Day.

The progress at 820 W. Miller means even more when you hear from the owners behind it.

Novi Properties has put years of commitment into bringing this property back to life. We appreciate their trust in RC Contractors as we help bring that vision to life in South Lansing. There’s more work ahead, and it’s rewarding to see the exterior taking shape.

Some of the businesses doing the most for our communities aren’t always the loudest about it.

They’re focused on doing good work, taking care of their people, and showing up for their customers. This is an opportunity to show them some appreciation.

CommunityVotes Lansing voting closes 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴. 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴 to find and vote for the local businesses you value.

A special thank-you to Lexi at J for nominating RC Contractors in the General Contractors category. Having a client think of us means a great deal. Douglas J is also nominated in several categories, and we’re glad to support them.

Let’s recognize the businesses helping our corner of Michigan thrive.

Every project hits a moment when it starts to show its personality.

At the Altitude at Columbus clubhouse, that moment is here.

The foundation work came first, and it always will. Structure, mechanicals, and drywall are what make a building last. But this is the part everyone waits for.

HPA Designs has done it again. Their designs tell the story of the town and the university, so every room feels like it belongs here. Bold swirls. Striped ceilings. Deep navy. A burgundy wall with real texture. The clubhouse is finding its personality.

Proud to build this one for Tailwind Group.

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘂𝗽: painted floors, hanging light fixtures, and the coffee bar. Stay tuned.

Happy birthday, Isaac!

With a little boy at home and a love for the outdoors, Isaac has plenty to keep him busy beyond work. A Potterville native, he enjoys getting out on his dirt bike, playing a round of golf, or spending time fishing.

Isaac, we hope you get to celebrate with your little guy and fit in something you enjoy. We’re glad you’re part of the RC crew!

Today we’re recognizing 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀.

Having grown up in a family of builders, Chris brings a lifetime of perspective to the work. But what we appreciate most is how he works with people—speaking candidly, building strong relationships, and seeing potential in those around him. He takes pride in who we are at RC and what we stand for.

Chris isn’t one to seek the spotlight, so we’ll keep it simple: thank you for five years of commitment, for telling us what we need to hear, and for seeing what our people can become.

We’re grateful to have you here, Chris.

If you’ve been following the renovation at 820 W. Miller, you’re starting to see the change.

The existing brick stays, while new cladding and soffit at the canopy give Miller Road Plaza a fresh look. With the storefront openings framed, the front of the building is coming together.

We’re proud to be part of this local project. One step closer to opening doors.

Today, we’re wishing Mike Wright a happy birthday—a smiling face around the RC office.

Away from work, you’ll find him enjoying time hunting, fishing, or adding to his collections. His faith and love for people run through it all—and a Speedway cappuccino is always welcome.

Happy birthday, Mike! We’re glad you’re part of our crew.

Fall color is showing up at the future Capital Area Humane Society spay and neuter clinic. Extra Mile Contracting has been planting trees, grasses, and shrubs around the site, and the sidewalk is going in along the road. Swipe to see it come together.
