Last week marked an exciting moment for the Southeast Michigan Psychiatric Hospital as project partners and state and local leaders came together for its dedication celebration.

More than a new building, this 264-bed hospital represents an investment in expanding access to behavioral health care for adults and youth across Michigan. Its patient-centered spaces were thoughtfully designed to support safety, comfort, healing and comprehensive care.

We’re grateful to the State of Michigan, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Integrated Design Solutions, our trade partners and everyone who helped bring this important project to life. We’re incredibly proud to have been part of the team!

Last week, we supported the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce's Inter-City Visit, welcoming leaders from Durham and North Carolina's Research Triangle to Grand Rapids to explore the partnerships, investments and ideas shaping thriving communities. The visit focused on topics including economic development, placemaking, transportation, education, housing and healthcare innovation.

Throughout the week, our team members participated in meaningful conversations with community, business, and government leaders. Highlights included Brian Crissman's participation in a panel discussion exploring the history, impact and future of Grand Rapids' Medical Mile as a model for economic development and placemaking.

During a Christman-hosted gathering at The Arts Marketplace At Studio Park, attendees heard from J.D. Loeks about the vision behind Studio Park and the role placemaking can play in creating vibrant, connected downtowns.

We were also pleased to support our partners at The Rapid by attending discussions focused on transportation and the critical role mobility plays in connecting people to opportunity. The visit included conversations about transportation investment and its impact on community growth and development.

The week was a reminder that transformational projects are built through partnership, and that strong communities grow when leaders come together to share ideas, challenges and opportunities.

Building spaces that support better care. 🏥

The Corewell Outpatient Campus demonstrates how thoughtful planning and construction can bring a wide range of healthcare services together under one roof.

This 3.5-story, 127,379-SF specialty center includes hospital-based and independent physician services spanning orthopedics, cardiology, dermatology, allergy and asthma, podiatry, pain management, chemotherapy and infusion. This facility also features an emergency department complete with imaging, blood lab, and an outpatient surgery center, retail pharmacy and shared spaces designed to support collaboration among providers.

From patient experience to provider needs, we understand what it takes to deliver modern medical office environments built around the communities they serve.
