I-496 Design Build- MDOT
This is a two-year reconstruction of I-496 roadway, is a two-mile reconstruction with ramp extensions, drainage improvements to include rehabilitation and capital preventive maintenance on seventeen bridges from Lansing Road to the Grand River in the city of Lansing, Ingham County. Bridge rehabilitation of twelve bridges along the corridor including bridge deck removal and replacement on three bridges and structural steel substructure repairs of all seventeen bridges. Mainline roadway removal and replacement including asphalt pavement, barrier wall, trunk line drainage, signage, noise wall, lighting, and guardrail.
