Hello All!
I wanted to take some time to reintroduce Thickets Habitat and Land Works by sharing a bit about ourselves, sharing a bit about our business, and sharing a bit about the value we bring to customers with our service offering.
My name is Matt Fahner and I graduated from Michigan State University in 2003 (I love my U of M Customers too!) with a degree in Supply Chain Management and received an MBA from Grand Valley State University in 2015. I had a rewarding career in my field for 20 years while working for several outstanding global manufacturing companies. In 2022 I took a leap of faith to pursue a lifetime goal of developing and growing my own business. I have been an avid outdoorsmen since a very young age, as well as a very entrepreneurial minded individual for as long as I can remember. I saw an awesome opportunity with Thickets to merge my two passions in the Land Management space and now I love providing quality services to awesome customers in the State of Michigan.

We provide quality services for residential and commercial customers across the whole lower peninsula and accept select projects in the Upper Peninsula.
We have a great passion for treating every property as if it was our own and we greatly enjoy serving our customers through sustaining land management practices. We appreciate the fact that each property is different, and the way that each customer intends to use their property is different as well. We listen to our customer’s needs intently and provide tailored solutions to bring a desired vision to fruition. We are honest, hardworking, fair, and our expectation is that our customers receive a professional experience from start to finish every time.
