Hi! I am Alaina Bakewell, and I am excited to share that I will be joining Lansing Custom Homes this summer as an Interior Design Intern!

I am currently a junior studying Interior Design at Iowa State University and am a graduate of Kee High School. Throughout the summer, I’ll be assisting with space planning, selecting materials for clients, and helping bring new home designs to life.
I’m especially excited to be back home and grateful for the opportunity to bring my skills to my community. I’m looking forward to a great summer and working with you in designing your next home!

This project was truly one of a kind! Carl and Lori Bracken had a clear vision for their home and challenged us to shape it into existence.

From working the floor plan into a modular design, to adding the finishing touches on-site, this home brought about many exciting ways for Lansing Custom Homes to learn and expand.
