Mitsubishi Electric Smart-Multi Ductless Heat Pump

Here’s a few details from this project:

•We use the Diamond System Builder software for every install. This software verifies that our equipment is sized properly and that we’ve designed a system capable of meeting its demands.

•This multi-zone ductless system is configured of 6 indoor wall mounted units, 2 branch boxes and 1 outdoor unit.

•During the initial inspection for this project, we thought there was a good chance of needing 2 separate systems. Luckily the desired cooling/heating needs of this home will be met by the single 60,000 btu outdoor unit paired with 2 separate branch boxes located on both sides of the house which feed a total of 6 indoor units.

•Smart-Multi technology is what enables us to utilize the 2 branch boxes. Each branch box acts as a hub for 3 indoor units. This was key and helped us install the line sets nice and neat on both sides of this large brick home.

•Smart-Multi systems utilize a branch box configuration which enables the installer to use a centralized location to make the connections between the outdoor unit and the indoor units. This helps to keep the install neater and limit the amount of visible clutter on your home.

•This particular project used all wall-mounted indoor units. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but there are many other styles of indoor units that can meet the design and functional needs of our customers as well.

200 Amp Electrical Service Upgrade

This homeowner is fully renovating their new house. Although this was a pretty standard job for us, we made sure to take the time to consult with the GC to make sure our work didn’t interfere with any future projects.

One of the upcoming jobs is the installation of new siding, gutters, soffit and fascia. After collaborating with the GC we made alterations to our original plan to ensure a flush fit between our equipment and the future exterior of the house.
