“Can’t you just add another downspout?” 🌧️ After heavy rain, we hear this question a lot at Allrite Home and Remodeling. While it may sound like a small project: adding and matching a single downspout can be disproportionately expensive once fabrication, materials and installation is factored in.

If your gutters are clean, properly pitched and simply need another place for water to escape, a DIY rain chain can be an affordable solution. Rain chains guide water from the gutter into a gravel basin, rain barrel or properly drained landscaping area.
