Truck was in the shop for 2 weeks, But got it back yesterday running fine. Back at the Grappler, finished this half of it. Still have to put new teeth caps on the other half. More to follow.

Took some video of a Diamond Z grinder during my break today.
Also pointed out about the teeth we use on these homemade grapplers.
I rebuilt these grapplers last summer, I think.

Went to Simpsonville, SC today to repair one of the yard excavators grapplers.
Had some serious cracks in it and the wind was howling. So this was all stick. Welded the cracks and did some buildup at the same time. added about 1/2 thick weld over the welded cracks.

Laid wire to the grappler all day today. Just have the center left to do. But it will have to wait as I have to go to Simpsonville, SC and fix a couple cracks on a different grapple. More to follow.

GOT TEETH! Started welding the teeth on the grapple today. More to follow.

I think I might be done with this grinder. At least as far as I can go without this thing being pressure washed Got the skirt on and painted. I also gouged all the cracks on this side and welded them up.

Started repairing cracks on the grinder. Also built up the stops on the hinges. Still more to go on this grinder.

Raining today, so I worked in the shop. Welded up the last tooth and I also did some more build up on the grappler. Back on the grinder tomorrow. More to follow.

Back on the Grinder today. Wanted to do the tub deck apron but that will have to wait. Robbie came down this morning and pulled the Mill and Screens out so I could get to some big cracks in the shute. I also welded the back sides of the hinges which is a lot easier to do with the deck open. Now it's a "every crack I can find". So that will keep me busy. Supposed to rain Thursday, we'll see if the weather guessers are right. Got stormed out @ 1300hrs today.
If so I'll be in the shop welding teeth. More to follow!
