Update: pictures of finished results. Today’s challenge, build a microwave cabinet that is angled to match the fall of the ceiling. It was the afternoon, the electrician is coming tomorrow to wire in the box inside of the cabinet, it has to match the other upper cabinets in the kitchen, and you have to use scrap material found on site. Two hours later I have it built sanded out filled a sealed tomorrow I’ll paint and hinge the doors, then it’s on the wall! It is a router fit box with a doweled face frame, soft close hinges and 45 degree crown.

Just put together this beautiful front deck. It will be getting a black rod iron hand rail as well, once it comes in. It was an absolute pleasure getting to meet, and know a couple of treasures in our community I was not aquatinted with before. I love getting to meet such great people while doing what I enjoy, so a huge thank you to the homeowners!

I got to build a beautiful low maintenance deck for amazing people. It turned out great! The black rod iron railing against the coffee color of the decking looks sharp!

I got a few minutes out of what has turned out to be the busiest year I have had, to play with the Makenzie today. I have the rot removed and scarf joints started. Next step will be gluing Douglas fir back into the hull. It might just be me but it’s starting to look better than brand new.

This was a dangerous opening down to the basement. A support wall was built and paneled. A window seal shelf was installed for support. Two pantries were installed in front. It will need varnish trimmed in and a small chunk of railing. Problem solved!
