Getting closer to wrapping this project up. It’s been so fun to take an open loft and turn it into a livable space for the truly amazing owners! There was height restrictions and red iron challenges throughout, but that made it fun. Huge thanks to the owners for being so easy to work with and collaborating challenges with me!

I am so proud to announce I have launched Black Dog Carpentry LLC. It has been a long time coming. I will be offering carpentry services.
I have many years of experience with woodworking. I grew up working in my father’s wood shop building log homes and furniture. Hard work comes naturally to me. I don’t play games or try and maximize profits at the expense of my clients/community. I will deliver honest and transparent estimates. I pride myself in listening to what the client wants and reaching that goal together with strong communication, respect and honesty.

Many hours/weekends later I got the interior stripped and sanded down to the last inch. I flipped it successfully by my self; after constructing built in saw horses. I finished the weekend by stripping the old caulking and linoleum off the bottom, removing what was left of the red oak chine strips, and removing the side bumper strips.
