Throwback to 1998 🪵🇯🇵

Today we’re celebrating Throwback Thursday by bringing back this 1998 log home, which first came together right here in our main log yard in Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin.

This project was assembled with the help of our old red crane — a piece of Frontier Builders history that we no longer use, but that was once a well-known structure around town. ❤️

After being assembled in our log yard, this home made quite the journey — all the way to Japan! 🇯🇵 To this day, Japan remains the farthest destination Frontier Builders logs have ever traveled.

Nearly 30 years later, it’s pretty special to look back at the craftsmanship, the people, and the history behind this project. 🪵🏡

We’re proud to share the completion of the new gazebo at the World’s Largest Penny in Woodruff, Wisconsin!

It was an honor for the Frontier Builders team to help bring this project to life by creating a structure that complements and protects one of the Northwoods’ most recognizable landmarks. Every project is an opportunity to build something lasting, and we’re grateful to have been part of preserving this unique community attraction.

We have our own landing to get rid of storm debris by barge. Or flip root balls back down with our excavators

Come tour the main floor of the Northwoods Cabin by Frontier Builders! This design is incredibly versatile and allows for many customizations. This cabin has two bedrooms and two full baths on the main level, three season porch, deck, loft area, two bedrooms in the basement with a living space, Jack & Jill full bath and a walk out patio space!

BH Project update: interior view! The Northwoods cabin is truly stunning. Two bedrooms on the main floor and two bathrooms. The loft takes the cake, this is a very versatile space that adds unique character to the cabin.
