And just like that we blinked, summer is winding down, and our summer help is off to school.

Owen started his freshman year of high school today, but spent most of his summer days on the job site with the team-leaning the trade, working hard and saving for a new snowmobile.

He became quite an asset to the team. And we are definitely going to miss having him around....especially if we have any sono tubes that need to be hand dug anytime soon. Somehow, he became our go-to-guy for that job.

There is something really cool about watching youth show interest in not only working but learning to build something from the ground up.

Good luck freshman year, Owen! We'll try to save all the sono tubes for you. 😉

Working on a project wrap up!

We were honored to once again join our friends at Frontier Builders for another incredible project collaboration! This was our second project working together, and we are grateful for the continued opportunity to be apart of these stunning log homes.

Combining Frontier Builders talented team of log crafters and engineers with our Stefonek Construction carpenters and craftsmen made for a great partnership. Together, we were able to bring every detail of this project to life- from structure itself to finishing touches.

Last week our team had the opportunity to meet with the Wolf Outdoor Living reps and spend some time learning about their decking and railing systems, while getting certified to install them.

We're excited about using their products and it was great to see what all they have to offer.

We are currently using their products on three of our projects, I cant wait to share pictures of how they have turned out.

Ethan did a fabulous job installing this stair case.

This project features beautiful custom Alaskan pine timbers that Travis ran through our sawmill, leaving them with a timeless rough-sawn look full of character. Josh then brought them to life with a rich chocolate stain that perfectly complements the flooring throughout the home.

To tie everything together, he carefully matched the oak treads, risers, and railings to blend with the stained timbers. The combination of rustic texture and refined finishes creates a stunning focal point that we're proud to have been a part of.

It’s my favorite time of year to talk about screen porches. The nasty insects are on their way, but we’ve waited a long time to enjoy the outdoors. 🌞🦟
