Rest Is Part of the Gift

Sometimes we need to be reminded that rest is not a reward for finishing everything, it’s part of how God designed us to live. ❤️

Taking time away from the schedules, the work, the responsibilities and the constant “next thing” gives us space to breathe, reconnect and simply enjoy the people God has blessed us with.

Jesus Himself stepped away from the crowds to rest and pray. If He made time to pause, surely we can give ourselves permission to do the same.

So this week, I’m choosing to slow down. To make memories. To laugh with my family. To watch the sunset. To be present instead of productive.

Because one day, we’ll look back and realize the moments we thought we were “taking time off” were actually some of the most important moments of our lives.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Rest. Reconnect. Be present. Enjoy the blessings God has given you. 🌊☀️❤️

✨ A renewed space for a God-given mission. ✨

We’re honored to put the finishing touches on this renovation for an organization committed to giving vulnerable children a voice, advocating for their safety and well being, and helping them find hope in the midst of difficult circumstances.

We believe that when God gives us the opportunity to build, serve, and use the gifts He has entrusted to us, we should do it with excellence and purpose.

This project is more than walls, floors, and finishes, it’s a space where people will continue to stand in the gap for children, speak up for those who need a voice, and bring hope to families in our community.

“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” — Psalm 82:3

We’re grateful to have played a small part in work that reflects God’s heart for His children.
