Heavy’s Electric is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled electrician who can provide excellent electrical work AND excellent customer service.

We are looking for a licensed Journeyman Electrician or an experienced electrician who is close to qualifying for their journeyman’s license.

This position is more than just installing and repairing electrical systems. You will work directly with customers, build estimates, explain recommended work, and close sales. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and confident communicating with homeowners.

🔧 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

* Residential electrical work
* Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
* New service installations
* Panel changes and upgrades
* Wiring new construction and remodels
* Generac generator installations and service
* Diagnose electrical problems and recommend solutions
* Build accurate estimates for electrical projects
* Present estimates and explain options to customers
* Close sales and turn estimates into completed jobs
* Provide excellent customer service from start to finish
* Maintain a professional relationship with customers
* Complete work safely, efficiently, and according to code

👷 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

* Journeyman Electrician OR experienced electrician working toward journeyman qualifications
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and the NEC
* Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems independently
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Comfortable discussing pricing, building estimates, and closing sales
* Professional and personable with homeowners
* Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
* Good work ethic and dependable attendance
* Ability to work independently as well as with a team
* Previous residential electrical experience preferred
