Here is a short status update on our chestnut recovery work.
VPI is working on completing a DNA analysis of our Millenium grove trees.
We should have the results by spring. We plan to write this up for journal publication.
We had a commercial aprtner decided to postpone shipment of 100 American chestnut 3G seedlings until next fall. So while supplies last, we now have 100 seedlings that we could ship NOW. This is the first time this has happened in over ten years.
