THE BIG IDEA // Covenant Fellowship Church, Glen Mills, PA

The intimacy of a small chapel space can make a big statement for a community. We're working with Covenant Fellowship to enhance the worship experience in their church complex but also create a more intimate series of support spaces for special events. A two-story worship space and a lower-level fellowship room with amenities are in the works. With this 3,000-SF design planned, we hope many in our community will have memorable events in this new space.

Many design and construction projects take longer than expected or have less-than-optimal outcomes because each player works separately and consecutively. When interior design comes last, and never works in collaboration with the original architect, unforeseen issues often arise. The result is not only subpar, but also time and money are wasted.

Earlier this month, TONO and PROTO, alongside leadership from CrossNet Ministries, accepted a Top Projects Award from the Central Penn Business Journal. This prestigious award honors the best building and construction projects in our local area over the last twelve months.

The team at TONO Group is honored to receive this recognition for such a worthy project, where our passions for community and architecture were harmoniously intertwined. 🏆

Last week brought us great cause for celebration:
🎉 We gathered with our clients, colleagues, family and friends to officially celebrate the 25 years TONO Group has been in business
🎉 Our gathering was hosted by CrossNet Ministries in their new headquarters
🎉 Our "Stuff This Backpack" program that we launched as part of our anniversary yielded more than 50 backpacks donated to CrossNet brimming with food and household supplies in addition to a few hundred additional supplies and donations.

We were so touched that our community responded with such an outpouring of generosity and we were very proud to partner with CrossNet on this event and give back to them at the same time.

Now we look to the next 25 years which will only possible with the support of our families, the talent of our amazing team and the many community relationships that we hold so dear. Cheers to 25 more!

One of the greatest benefits of our process to the client is faster delivery times. While construction and renovation projects have a notorious reputation for taking longer than expected, our Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process ensures that all team members are aligned on expectations, tasks, and timelines from the get go. Because we can address all aspects of a project in-house, from real estate to interior design, information and expertise are shared early and throughout the process.

This is evident in a project like Eye Check Health and Vision, a boutique optometry practice. In this project, TONO Group unburdened the client from day-to-day project management and successfully completed the fit-out within a short deadline.

THE BIG IDEA // Cyprium Solutions, Mountville, PA

This prosperous commercial and industrial electrical contractor is moving to a larger and more prominent space with room to grow. Their new home is all about location but the building's former life as a machine shop offers little in the way of aesthetics. By offering single-source, turnkey project delivery, TONO Group is working to strip the exterior of the outdated and residentially scaled building components and introduce a contemporary and brand-centric identity.

ON THE BOARDS // Weaver Companies, East Earl, PA

With the goal of transforming a former RV center into their new corporate headquarters and operations center, Weaver Construction Companies turned to long-time partner TONO Group. Our team is charged with renovating 30,000 SF of total facility, including 12,000 SF of corporate office improvements, a 1,500-SF training center and additional shop space.

The exterior needs to be updated to include the company's brand identity, and the interior is slated for a modern remodel with exposed barrel vaulted structural members, skylights, and an open office concept. Part of this plan includes a “hub” for team meals and activities in a central location with high ceilings, food service amenities, and seating for collaboration and conversation.
