Over the last few months, I’ve reinvested over six figures back into Good Ol’ Boys Construction.
Not because business is bad, Actually Quite the Opposite...
Because we’re building something bigger.
New office and shop.
Building renovations and upgrades.
Work trucks.
New trailers and professional wraps.
Project management.
Professional bookkeeping.
Stronger insurance policies.
More aggressive marketing.
Better equipment.
More people and continued investment in growing our team.
Could that money have stayed in the account as profit? Absolutely.
But one of the biggest lessons I Know is this:
You can’t grow if you’re scared to invest.
I didn’t build a multimillion dollar company by playing small.
Good Ol’ Boys isn’t a guy with a truck and some tools anymore.
I’ve built a real company with a reputation, a brand, a team, systems, infrastructure, and something solid to stand on.
Right now, I’m more than willing to sacrifice today’s profit to lay the foundation for tomorrow’s company.
One investment at a time.
One block at a time.
That’s what it takes to build something bigger than yourself.
