Meet the creator of Chisel + Root.
My name is Donny. I am a husband, father, traveler, and local craftsman in my spare time. As many of you know I have been making furniture and heading several renovation projects for my home, as well as creating pieces for my wife's photography business. More recently, I have been making furnishings and custom work on commission through word of mouth for neighbors and friends.
I have always enjoyed woodworking, and just creating things in general. I am a self-taught woodworker since 2014 when I built my family a dining room table. That passion grew and over the last decade, I have been exploring the craft and fine tuning my skills.

I think it's finally time I put my name out there, have a place to showcase my work and connect with others. Through Chisel + Root, I hope create quality, personalized pieces that customers can enjoy for a lifetime.
