It’s that time, y’all… 🥶 As we prepare for freezing temperatures this weekend, remember to cover all of your exterior hose-bibs, and leave your faucets on ALL external walls on a slow steady stream, not just a trickle, to avoid frozen pipes! 💦

👉🏼🚰 We have faucet/hose bib covers available for $8 each at the shop, while supplies last. Get them before 3pm Friday.

🔥 When you have power on & interior heat, open your cabinet doors to expose plumbing fixtures, & allow warm air in.

☀️As temperatures warm up after a freeze, be on the lookout for any leaks and broken pipes as they defrost.🚽🛁🚿

❄️ You likely won’t be able to detect a broken pipe/line if your lines are already frozen… just wait fo them to defrost and have jugged water ready for drinking etc.

If you detect a leak, turn the water off, if you can, and remember to turn your water heater OFF if you’re without water for an extended length of time.
