Landscape with the Compost Man

My passion is composting, and I'd love to help you get composting as well. My name is Kevin. This page is about my business and also about providing some basic knowledge and information about composting. I have been doing lawn care and landscaping for about 12 years. I have extensive knowledge about how to provide a lush healthy lawn, about having a beautiful garden with rich soil and about how to keep it all in good health, naturally! I have made, redefined and removed mulch beds; I have created retaining walls - repairing them from ruins as well as starting from scratch. There is a more extensive list of the different services i provide, which can be found on my website, njcompostman.com. My passion is composting. Composting is a method (in my opinion, the best one) of creating rich nutrient soil. It is made up of a combination of nitrogen and carbon, along with other items, which contain a smaller role. You must aim for a ratio of these materials (it doesn't have to be exact), and keep it somewhat balanced. If it has too much of one, it might get smelly. If it has too much of the other, it will, for lack of a better term, 'die.' Now, why should we compost? Well, composting, as I mentioned earlier, will provide excellent soil for your flowers, shrubs, trees, grass, veggie garden or anything else you might want to grow. The list is endless! It also recycles things you might otherwise be throwing in to trash, then going to a landfill, and will then waste the precious space on our earth. As many of you recycle, separating your kitchen scraps, the weeds from the garden or any general waste that is biodegradable like cardboard, can go right back where it came from, that ground! I really hope you genjoy my page and I am glad you are interested in this idea! Keep composting!
