The 2nd Annual Cascade Construction Bricklayer 50 is in the books! 🧱🏆
What started as a little friendly competition turned into one of the best team-building events of the year. It was a blast watching our office and warehouse team step onto the wall and experience what our field crews do every day. There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly trash talk, and a whole lot of respect earned for the craft.

Getting started on the Port Angeles project with FORMA Construction. 🧱
These are Construction Robotics MULEs getting set up for the next lift. If you’ve never seen one in person, they’re one of the coolest pieces of equipment in masonry. They follow the mason’s hand, making it possible for one bricklayer to set 12-inch CMU with the control and precision of laying brick.
We’re big believers that technology should assist skilled craftspeople, not replace them.
Less fatigue. Less wear and tear. Fewer injuries. Better production. Same craftsmanship.
If you ever get the chance to see one in action, take it. You’ll understand why more contractors are investing in this technology.

Buildings worth restoring. 🧱
Some buildings are designed for the next 20 years.
Others are designed for the next century.
This beautifully glazed brick exterior accent at Edison Elementary has been standing through changing styles, changing generations, and changing weather. Decades later, we’re not tearing it down. We’re restoring it.
There’s something special about preserving craftsmanship instead of replacing it. Every restoration keeps a piece of history alive while preparing it for the future.
Proud to be part of this restoration in partnership with Korsmo Construction , GreenCast Advisory, and PSC Structural Engineers, preserving the original vision while preparing the building for the next generation.

Come behind the scenes as Imogen, Trixy, and Ezri get a few practice rounds in before the 2nd Annual Cascade Bricklayer 50. Then stick around for the final 10 second countdown. The energy at the end says it all. 🧱🔥
We had an absolute blast putting this event together, and one of the coolest surprises was how many general contractors, architects, and project teams reached out afterward asking if they could get in on the next one.
The answer is absolutely.

One of the most rewarding parts of construction is seeing a project come full circle.
From estimating and project management to construction, there’s a real sense of pride in watching a building you helped bring to life serve its purpose. It’s great to see the new Honda vehicles settling into their new home at Honda Auto Center of Bellevue.
Built by Cascade Construction in partnership with MRJ Constructors, this project showcases an efficient and economical use of CMU, thoughtfully designed by TG Architect.
Every completed project is the result of collaboration, craftsmanship, and a team committed to building it right.

There’s something satisfying about watching fresh Mutual Materials Coal Creek brick come straight off the pallet and into the wall.
Back on site, we’re getting started above the below-grade work as Phase 1 begins to take shape at Inglemoor High School. This project features one of the most distinctive masonry designs you’ll see on a public school, brought to life through the creative vision of Hutteball + Oremus Architecture, Inc. and built in partnership with BNBuilders.
