Short answer: yes — but a pump sprayer beats a roller every time on this one.

A sprayer gives you the most even coat. If you do roll it, keep a dry roller on hand to back-roll any ponding or puddling before it sets.

Lay it on too thick chasing full coverage in one pass, and it can dry white or hazy instead of clear.
