Beau Bristol, the owner of Garage Doors & More, was working what he describes as a “no-where job” 15 years ago when he met Ralph Bradley, the owner of a garage door franchise. Bradley asked Beau if he was interested in a career and Beau jumped at the opportunity. The experience, working his way up from the ground floor, gave him an uncommon depth

of understanding in the garage door service and installation field. While in the shop, he unloaded trucks. He filled orders of parts and equipment for shipment. He also learned how to repair garage door openers. When he moved into the field repairing and installing garage doors in 2003, he had a good foundation. Under Bradley’s tutelage, he learned the right ways to fix and install garage doors. He also came across examples of the wrong way, as well as examples of work that was less than reputable. He learned what to do and what not to do. After working for several companies over the years, he decided it was time to start his own company in 2014. He was determined to give his customers, not just great service, but honest service – none of this nonsense installing parts they don’t really need just to drive up the cost.
