Replacement of an exterior door, frame repairs, hardware installation, painting.

This customer had not been able to use the door for years due to rotten wood at the bottom of the door and frame compromising the weather stripping seals as well.

She also didn't feel as secure with a glass door. The solution to replace it with a solid door, this time a vinyl door, now the customer doesn't have to worry about wood rotting over time.

Most exterior doors in Florida suffer from the same thing, if there is no covering above it, as it rains or water splashes, it tends to collect between the door and the frame, then with the majority of contractors not painting well the doors, especially under the hinges or under the door, over time moisture, water saturation and our famous carpenter ants, well most doors dont stand a chance.

Unfortunately manufacturers are not providing good products for replacements, most home improvement stores don't do a good job describing the manufacturing process and people buy new doors for replacements that end up rotting away just a few years later.

This is why you want experienced contractors to guide you through your replacement process. Doors are an investment, if you are thinking of replacing a door, save your money, spend a little more on quality, it will be worth it in the long run.

Always replace your hinges with stainless steel versions of what is needed, many manufacturers opt into nickel plated steel that end up oxidizing over just a few months also compromising that area of the door.

Someone thought to put this by the trash, and you know what they say "One man's trash is another man's treasure". I decided to take it home thinking, let me test it, maybe it has a bad amp, or the speaker blew up. Maybe it was looking too rough for someone's decor or not enough space as they were loading to move out.

I wasn't very hopeful, but everything worked, I already knew the brand had a reputation for reliability and performance, so I was excited to transform it into something I can use at home.

Funny enough I was looking at subwoofers for my Record Player set up and this was free.
