A little history behind Turf Surfers…

It all started in high school as a Christmas light installation side business. There wasn’t a business name just word of mouth and me being a perfectionist.

A few years later, while working full time in Houston, I started mowing on the side during my extra time. Around 2012, Turf Surfers officially came to life. Five years later, I quit my job to build the business full time, providing commercial and residential lawn maintenance and transitioning to Christmas light installations each holiday season.

Today, I’m proud to say we’ve served Brazoria County for 22 years with Christmas lights and 14 years with lawn care!

I never would have imagined that a high school side job would one day allow me to support my family. Thank you to everyone who has trusted us, recommended us, and supported this business along the way. You’ve helped make that possible! 🏄‍♂️

🚨Christmas installation update from Turf Surfers!🚨

I’ll be sending appointment reminders to all of our past Christmas lighting clients soon. We’re following the same neighborhood schedule as last year, starting with Lake Jackson Farms. We’ll prioritize Govee Christmas light installations throughout October.

Getting on the schedule early helps us reach everyone. Each year, we begin turning away installation requests in November, so please reach out soon if you’d like a spot.

Our regular mowing schedule will end after October, but we’ll keep Wednesdays open as flex days. If your yard needs service, please contact us the week before so we can add you to the schedule.

Thank you for continuing to trust us with your holiday lighting and lawn care!

* Twenty-Two years servicing Brazoria County!

Another late evening for the Turf Surfers crew! We’re working hard to get to everyone, so please bear with us as we catch up. I also have quite a few Christmas light installation quotes to get out. Thank you for your patience and for keeping us busy!

Another busy day playing catch up!

With that being said, we’ll be moving our Creekside and Sleepy Hollow neighborhoods to the beginning of next week.

With all the recent rain, a lot of our properties have piled up toward the end of the week. We’re making some adjustments to our schedule so we can spread the workload out more evenly and keep everything running smoothly moving forward.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we get caught back up. See everyone soon!
