Regulatory costs including permits, building codes, inspections, and design standards now make up 26.4% of the average new home's sale price, adding $131,734 to the typical $499,500 home and rising nearly 40% in just five years, according to a new National Association of Home Builders study.

Lakeshore Design and Build is looking for a skilled painter to join our growing team specializing in high-end custom homes, timber frames, lake homes, and detailed finish work throughout the Adirondack region.

We are looking for someone who:

•Has strong staining and finishing experience.
•Takes pride in clean, high-quality work.
•Understands prep work and attention to detail.
•Can assist carpenters when painting/staining work is lighter.
•Shows up consistently with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
•Has experience on high-end residential projects preferred.
•Must have transportation.
