We lift homes, even ones on islands🏝️😎🤘🏽
Check out the most recent foundation repair lift from our team!
This home was built in the 1930’s and in the last 90+ years it has settled or sunk as much as 3 inches in some areas.
This settlement resulted in recurring cracks both on the interior and exterior of the home.. doors and windows that would stick.. and a sloping feeling in the floors.
The homeowner was getting ready to start a massive, complete remodel of the property.. and that meant getting the foundation stabilized.
Our specialist, Joe Harris, performed the initial evaluation and took floor elevation measurements to get an idea of what they were working with.
Once he had floor elevation measurements he was able to design a repair plan that would stabilize the homes foundation and ensure it doesn’t continue to settle or sink.
Joe’s repair plan would consist of 24 steel push piers along with some polyurethane to fill the voids after the lift.
These push piers ended up being driven about 60 feet on average to find competent, load-bearing soils😳
What you’re seeing in this video is the process of transferring the home’s load from the soils at the surface to the push piers.
And during the process we’re able to lift and recover some of the settlement!
Have you ever seen a home being lifted like this?🤨
