I've got a quite a few questions about powder coating and how it works.
So watch your step, because i'm about to drop some knowledge.🤓

Powder coating is the process of applying powders using electrostatic to any metal material. The material is then placed inside an oven to cure. Curing temps usually range from 350 to 400 degrees fahrenheit. During the curing process, the powder gels out and bonds with the substrate. This allows for a very flexible and durable finish. Unlike many other forms of coating or painting, powder coating has a dual function of being decorative and functional.

In addition to powder coating, I also do some fabricating. I turned this wing of a cultivator into a 3-point mount. The customer may have been my dad, but he was happy with how it turned out. I'll try to get a photo of him using it soon.
