We’re excited to share our new project in Santa Monica. Designed for this sunny, mild climate, the building relies on passive shading—deep overhangs, adjustable louvers, and planted trellises—to block summer sun while keeping abundant daylight.
An inward-facing courtyard is the heart of the design: shaded planting, thermal mass and natural ventilation create a stack-effect that draws cool air through interior spaces, cutting the need for mechanical cooling. Careful orientation and cross-ventilation paths make comfort and efficiency inseparable.
More to come!
