Christmas has come to the Sheriff’s Office a little early to help local seniors!

We are proud to team up with Home Instead for their “Be a Santa to a Senior” program again this year. Through their “Be a Santa to a Senior” program, Home Instead and their community partners deliver Christmas gifts to financially challenged seniors.

Each one of the ornaments on the tree in our lobby represents the wish list for a local senior.

Our office is open Mon.-Fri., 8am-5pm CST. We will be closed November 11, 27, & 28. If you have the means, stop by our office to pick out a senior’s wish list. Then once you’ve picked out their gifts, just drop the unwrapped gifts and ornament back off at our office by Tuesday, December 2. We’ll work with Home Instead to make sure that the gifts are delivered to the seniors in time for Christmas.

PS: Don’t worry about the tree running out of wish lists. Home Instead will be continuing to fill the tree as it gets low to make sure that all of the seniors' wish lists make it onto the tree. There are too many to put on the tree at one time.

I just wanted to give a shout out to OHL Metal Roof Supply out of Columbus, Georgia!

You guys need to run by and check them out if you are needing metal fabricated they have helped us tremendously and they have been such a pleasure to work with. We got our metal trusses and our roof and siding. They are very professional, amazing prices and they are just simply easy to work with. They got all of our materials taken care of within a day or two of each order. Check them out if you’re doing anything metal.
