When our teams collaborate, great things happen.

Members from Safety Management Systems (SMS), Acadian Companies, and Acadian Total Security recently spent time assisting in packing 3,000 school backpacks for children in need across nine Louisiana parishes as part of the Gifting Grace Pack the Backpack initiative.

Spearheaded by SMS Marketing and Communications Coordinator Stacey Armand— who also serves on the Gifting Grace board— the effort brought our divisions together for a common purpose.

Through a donation from Acadian Companies, 50 children will head back to school equipped for success.

Acadian Total Security employees volunteered today with Gifting Grace Project and helped to assemble over 3,000 pencil pouches. The pouches will go into backpacks that will be distributed to homeless children in the Acadiana area just in time for the beginning of the school year.

Acadian sent cutouts of its America 250 ambulance unit and special logo emblem to stations and offices throughout the company for employees to take pictures with for the contest. Octavia submitted a picture with the cutout at ATS’ headquarters in Lafayette.
