Indiana summers can be brutal, and high temps aren’t just uncomfortable—they can be dangerous. Here are a few quick tips to keep your family safe:

Hydration first 💧: Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty. Avoid too much caffeine or alcohol.

Check for warning signs 🚨: Watch for dizziness, headaches, or nausea—these can be signs of heat exhaustion.

Cool spaces ❄️: Use fans, AC, or head to public places like libraries or malls if your home gets too warm.

Dress smart 👕: Light, loose clothing in breathable fabrics helps your body stay cool.

Look out for others ❤️: Check in on elderly neighbors, kids, and pets—they’re more vulnerable to heat.

🔥 Remember: If you or someone you know shows signs of heat stroke (confusion, rapid pulse, fainting), call 911 immediately.

🎉 Happy 2‑Year Anniversary to Chimney Mechanix of Indiana! 🎉

Wow… what an amazing journey these past two years have been. Today we celebrate our anniversary, and it’s all thanks to our families, friends, customers, vendors, and everyone who has supported us — whether through referrals, kind words, or sharing our posts. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

Kaitlin started this business with her husband, Jason, back in 2024 with one goal:
to become one of the best chimney service companies in Indiana while keeping families safe and warm. She also achieved becoming a Certified Chimney Specialist this year!

Six months in, she realized she needed someone to run the office while she was out in the field — and that’s when Jenny joined the team. Together, they’ve been crushing it ever since.

This year brought even more growth. With demand increasing, Kaitlin needed help in the field, and Brittany joined us nearly two months ago. She has been an incredible addition, and the team is stronger than ever.

Being a woman‑owned and woman‑operated business in the trades isn’t always easy. Women are often underestimated in this industry — but we’re proud to say we’re breaking ceilings, proving ourselves daily, and showing Indiana what strong, skilled, hardworking women can do.

Use of our 4K, 360° camera for internal imaging

Roof evaluation when accessible; if weather prevents roof access, we use our drone for high‑quality photos and measurements

Sweeping only if necessary

Our appointment windows are 9am–12pm, 1pm–3pm, and 3pm–6pm — and these also serve as our arrival times. Our technicians always do their best to arrive right at the start of your scheduled window.

That said, we all know how Indiana construction, unexpected delays, and long drives (sometimes over an hour!) can impact timing. As we head into our busy season, there may be moments when we’re running behind.

If that happens, we promise to keep you informed, communicate any delays, and provide an updated ETA. A little grace goes a long way, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
