The Gayle and Tom Benson Ochsner Children's Hospital continues to take shape! On Level 1, our team is advancing slab-on-grade and steel canopy work. Inside the tower, framing and overhead rough-ins are progressing on Levels 2 and 3, while mechanical and overhead rough-in work moves forward on Level 4.

These efforts are helping define the interior spaces and establish the building systems that will support future patient care. Each phase brings us closer to delivering a new space that will support specialized pediatric care and serve children and their families. LEMOINE is proud to continue its partnership with the Town of Vinton, Louisiana, in improving its existing utility infrastructure.

The project scope includes a new groundwater well and a 300,000-gallon prestressed concrete storage tank, along with new pumps, chlorine feed systems, and four pressure filters housed in a new pre-engineered metal building. Associated piping and site improvements will support the upgraded facility.

This project continues LEMOINE’s relationship with the Town of Vinton following a wastewater treatment plant addition completed several years ago. LEMOINE is once again partnering with Meyer & Associates, building on a longstanding history of delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure together throughout Southwest Louisiana.

For the first time in 112 years, the Atlantic reached September 21 without a hurricane—an extraordinary stretch of quiet during the heart of hurricane season.

Now, AL92 is a timely reminder that quiet doesn’t mean the season is over. Confidence is increasing that the system will develop into a tropical depression in the Gulf, bringing the potential for heavy rainfall and flooding later this week.
