Sound on for this one!

Our crew brought this rooftop structure down right on target. It takes a lot of planning to make a pull like this look easy, and our team nailed it.

Proud of these guys.

That’s approximately 96,600 lbs. on the hook.

A large crane makes its move as our crew removes this piece of equipment from the facility.

Industrial demolition isn’t always about tearing something down. Sometimes it’s about careful planning on how to get nearly 50 tons of equipment out of the building safely and effectively.

Stop work authority only works when people are prepared to use it.

Our very own Kerry Nazario, Target Contractors’ Corporate Health & Safety Director, joined theDemo Dispatch podcast by the The National Demolition Association to talk about an experience early in his career that changed the way he looks at stop work authority.

His point is a good one: signing a policy and knowing what to do in the moment are two different things.

Kerry discusses why stop work interventions should be practiced just like other jobsite drills—helping people recognize hazards, speak up with confidence and know they’ll be supported when they do.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed.

Today, we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, honor the first responders who answered the call, and keep their families in our thoughts.

Never Forget.

High-reach demolition leaves little room for guesswork.

There’s more to bringing down an industrial structure than what you see happening at the end of the boom.

The building, utilities, foundations and surrounding infrastructure all factor into how the work is approached. Knowing what comes down, how it comes down and in what order comes from years of doing the work.

Some exciting news to share...

The Ahtna–Target Joint Venture has been shortlisted for the 2026 World Demolition Awards in the Explosive Demolition of the Year category.

Awards are great, but what makes us proud is the people behind them. Every person who helped plan, prepare, and safely complete this project had a hand in this recognition.

Congratulations to our team and our project partners. We appreciate everything you do.

Congratulations to all those who have been included in the 2026 AWARDS SHORTLIST.

Not every day on a demolition project is about bringing a building down.

This week at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, our crew completed another important step in preparing Building for demolition by removing overhead utility infrastructure.

A lot of work happens before demolition ever begins, and every step is carefully planned to keep the project moving safely and efficiently.

Great work by everyone involved!

One piece at a time.

That’s how these massive steel storage tanks come down.

Our crews are making great progress dismantling the tanks safely while working through each phase of the project. It takes teamwork, planning, and skilled operators to carefully remove structures of this size.

It’s always rewarding to step back and see the progress from a different perspective. These drone photos really show the scale of the work.

Great job to everyone on site!
