The future of the building industry was on full display at the FFA Area IV Carpentry Competition! 🔨🏗️

This competition challenges high school teams in planning, estimating, and construction skills — giving students the opportunity to showcase their talent, teamwork, and craftsmanship in a real-world setting.

🦞🐜 Mudbugs Meet the Bug Pros! 🐜🦞

We’re just over a week away from the NHBA Crawfish Boil! This year’s boil is proudly presented by Arrow Termite & Pest Control — and let’s be honest… if anyone knows bugs, it’s them. And crawfish are mudbugs after all. Coincidence? We think not!

When it comes to bugs, they normally get rid of them… but for one night they’re helping us celebrate them...the mighty mudbug (a.k.a. crawfish)! So Arrow Termite & Pest Control agreed to help us bring a whole lot of bugs to the Castine Center — and instead of spraying them, we’re boiling them. 🔥🦞

We are deeply saddened by Mike Stone's passing. As a long-time Northshore Home Builders Association (NHBA) member, our members become like family to each other and we offer sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mike at Stone Title.

As many of you have heard, our founder and friend, Michael Stone, passed away over the weekend. The outpouring of love and support we've received is truly touching and a reminder of how many people he impacted throughout his lifetime.

Over 40 years ago, Mike began his career in real estate law and had the privilege to work with so many clients through the decades...clients whose children and grandchildren still trust us to assist them in taking care of the business of life. Mike taught us to enjoy our work through his love of laughter and helping others. He truly enjoyed "holding court" at the closing table during the good times, and understood the importance of being the steady rock for clients, family and friends during the tougher moments. We couldn't have had a better teacher and mentor. While this is certainly the end of an era, we are grateful for the responsibility of carrying on his legacy in our work.

On behalf of Mike, we'd like to thank you all.

Michael T. Stone's funeral service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church located at 129 N. New Hampshire St. in Covington on Monday, January 12th at 1pm, with Visitation beginning at 12 pm in Holzhalb Hall across from the church. Stone Title will be closed for the day in remembrance and celebration of Mike's life and legacy.
